Hmm...Just showed this to my boyfriend. The city in Australia that I referred to and pronounced as "canes" is actually supposed to be pronounced as "cans." I bet if we would have made it there, I would have learned how to pronounce it. ;)

Glad you enjoyed New Zealand/Australia. My colleagues, David O'Brien (he was at the Orientation) and Deborah Dillon were there in July and really enjoyed the range of different micro-climates in New Zealand--they went all over. It's great that you have a chance to travel and see the world--that's a true education in terms of learning different perspectives.
